From its beginnings more than 40 years ago the Art Glass Center has blossomed from a tiny teaching space. The AGC was one of the first organizations to join the National Park Service’s unique enclave of visual and performing arts groups in the historic Glen Echo amusement park. Today, a team of Resident Artists teaches classes to students ranging from novices to experienced artists and oversees a vibrant community of kiln-formed glass enthusiasts.
One of our studio artists, Lynn Rozental, is looking forward to sharing Fantasy Coral Bowl at the upcoming Expressions 2024 exhibition opening on March 16. Lynn often enjoys expressing herself through the dazzling properties of transparent glass.
“NCAGG: A Celebration of 45 Years” by the National Capital Art Glass Guild opened Thursday evening at the Strathmore Mansion. Our AGC glass community was well represented by some wonderful work by many of our Resident and Studio Artists. The show is open until October 28. The mansion is located at 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD.
